Shepherd’s pie

The base of Shepherd’s pie is minced in sauce, mashed potatoes on top and then baked in the oven. There are many recipes and it can hardly be said that anyone is the right one. Many people use canned carrots and green beans instead of frozen beans and corn beans. Easy, simple and good food.

3 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion
500 g notch
1 teaspoon rosemary
1 teaspoon thyme
salt and pepper
2-3 garlic cloves, chopped
3 tablespoons tomato puree
broth
A little water (if needed)
2 tablespoons flour
1.5 dl frozen green beans
1 dl canned corn beans
parsley

Chop the onion and fry in oil. Add mince and simmer. Add rosemary, thyme, salt, pepper and garlic, tomato puree, beef broth and water.
Boil for a few minutes. Turn off the heat, sprinkle with the flour and then stir.
Add green beans and corn.
Place in a casserole dish, mashed potatoes over and bake at 175 ° C for about 30 minutes or until the mashed potatoes have taken on color.
