
Energy Bars – Perfect for Hiking!
One of the many benefits of exercising a lot is that your metabolism increases, allowing you to eat with a good conscience. Energy-rich and tasty energy bars.

Energy Bars
- 1 cup salted peanuts
- 1/2 cup seeds (e.g., sesame seeds, flax seeds, and sunflower seeds)
- 1 cup muesli
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup mixture of chopped dried fruits, such as apricots, prunes, dates, or figs
- 2/3 dl syrup
- 100 g butter
- 200 g good quality dark chocolate (unsweetened)
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
- Melt the butter and chocolate in a pot, and add the syrup.
- Mix all the other ingredients together in a bowl.
- Pour the melted mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Place the mixture into muffin cups or pour it onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and press down lightly.
- Let it sit in the refrigerator overnight.
- Finally, cut into suitable-sized pieces.
- Best stored in the fridge.
