FiberHusk is a True Wonder Ingredient – it is the ground husk of seeds from the Indian plant Plantago ovata forsk. Many people don’t get enough fiber in their diet, and FiberHusk is a perfect addition – completely organic. Plus, it’s nice to mention that the bread is gluten-free.

– The next time I baked the bread, I didn’t have zucchini, so I grated half a green apple instead and skipped the cheese. The bread turned out even better.

The Ingredients for Paleo Bread

Paleo Bread

  • 2 dl almond flour (or rice flour)
  • 2 dl flax seeds
  • 2 dl sunflower seeds
  • 1 dl sesame seeds
  • 1 dl pumpkin seeds
  • 1 dl FiberHusk
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 dl grated cheese
  • 2 dl grated zucchini
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tsp (cream of tartar) baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 dl good-quality oil
  • Approximately 1/2 dl water (or a bit more)

Instructions:

  1. Mix everything together in a bowl.
  2. Place the mixture into a loaf pan lined with baking paper or greased with oil.
  3. Bake at 160°C (320°F) for about an hour.
