Pan-Fried Cauliflower with Cumin and Coriander
Sometimes the simplest ingredients deliver the biggest surprises. Cauliflower is often overlooked, but when gently pan-fried in good olive oil and warmed with cumin and coriander, it transforms into something deeply satisfying and full of character.
This dish is clean, nourishing, and completely vegan. It works just as well as a side dish as it does as part of a main meal, and it proves that truly good food doesn’t need to be complicated — just thoughtfully prepared.

Pan-Fried Cauliflower with Cumin and Coriander
Ingredients
1 medium cauliflower
½–1 dl olive oil
1 tbsp dried coriander
1 tsp ground cumin (or to taste)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Method
Break the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
Heat the olive oil in a wide frying pan over medium heat — warm, but not too hot.
Add the spices to the oil, then immediately add the cauliflower florets.
Toss gently in the pan and cook until the cauliflower begins to soften and turns lightly golden, absorbing the fragrant spices.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve warm.
