Oatmeal – The Classic Good Breakfast
Despite all the food trends, oatmeal remains a staple. It’s simple, fiber-rich, and easy to make: oats + water + salt.
You can mix or top oatmeal with a variety of things like cinnamon, cocoa, wheat bran, seeds, almonds, and fruits (fresh or dried). Here’s a basic oatmeal recipe.
Oatmeal – The Classic Good Breakfast
- 2 dl (3/4 cup) oats
- 6 dl (2 1/2 cups) water
- 1/2 – 1 tsp salt
Stir the oats into hot or cold water, add salt, and simmer for 3–5 minutes. Serve with milk.
